Work with us

We are hiring people who have actually run something.

This journal exists because most AI writing is slop. Fixing that takes reporters, analysts and builders who can read a workflow, test a claim and say plainly what held up. Six roles are open.

  1. 01

    Investigative Features Editor

    Editorial · Remote (EU/US overlap) · Full-time

Own the long features. You commission, structure and cut them until the story is the process — what was broken, what got rebuilt, what still hurts.

    • Turn a vague company claim into a checkable operational account
    • Edit for evidence: numbers with a source, or they come out
    • Hold the line between sponsorship and what the piece says
    Apply for this role
  2. 02

Operations Reporter, Finance & Back Office

    Editorial · Remote · Full-time

Report from inside close cycles, reconciliations, approvals and collections. The unglamorous machinery where AI either earns its place or quietly doesn't.

    • Interview the people who actually run the process, not the announcers
    • Read the workflow before you write the sentence
    • Two features a month, each with something a practitioner can copy
    Apply for this role
  3. 03

    Slop Analyst (Top 10 desk)

    Research · Remote · Part-time / contract

Test the agents, prompt packs and 'skills' everyone is selling this week, and write up honestly what they did and did not do.

    • Run a fair test with a fixed method, then publish the method
    • Screenshots, prompts and failures included
    • No dunking without receipts — and real credit where something works
    Apply for this role
  4. 04

    Sponsorship & Client Partnerships Lead

    Revenue · Remote · Full-time

Bring in the companies worth writing about, and explain the deal clearly: sponsorship buys a feature, not a verdict.

    • Qualify on operations, not on marketing budget
    • Own the pipeline from first call to signed feature
    • Keep every commitment we make to a sponsor in writing
    Apply for this role
  5. 05

    Growth & Distribution Manager

    Marketing · Remote · Full-time

Get each feature in front of the operators it was written for — search, newsletter, LinkedIn, and the quiet channels that outperform them.

    • Own search and newsletter growth end to end
    • Report what moved readers to a lead, not vanity numbers
    • Write promo copy that sounds like the journal, not a webinar
    Apply for this role
  6. 06

    Product Engineer (Publishing platform)

    Engineering · Remote · Full-time

Build the publishing and lead machinery behind the journal: article pages, funnel tracking, reader chat and the admin tooling the desk lives in.

    • TypeScript, React and a full-stack app you own end to end
    • Make pages fast on a phone on bad hotel Wi-Fi
    • Instrument the funnel so editorial decisions have evidence
    Apply for this role
